I'm Neil. I make things, break things, and figure out how to fix them.

I’ve spent my career as a chartered engineer, and my real passion has always been bringing ideas to life — whether that’s multimillion pound automated systems, DIY around the home or solving everyday problems in unusual ways.

I love learning new skills and putting them straight to use building things. Some of my projects start from scratch; plenty start with something broken, or something headed for the bin that I reckon still has life in it. Either way, the fun is in figuring it out as I go.

This site is where it all lives and I'm thrilled to have you here. Have a look around, and have a go yourself!
